Arabian Pipecoating Company Ltd. (APCO) was established in 1983 by the A. H. Algosaibi Bros. Co., and the Abdulaziz & Sa’ad AI-Moajil Company. APCO provides end-to-end pipe coating solutions, is a leading provider of quality pipe coating products, and offers the largest pipe coating capacity at a single location, globally. With an established regional footprint in the Middle East, and an expanding global presence, APCO is focused on catering to world scale pipeline projects. Independent engineering, design, and plant mobilization capabilities ensure that APCO can deploy solutions directly to project sites and support project execution with industry leading technical expertise.
APCO can support dynamic pipe coating projects by offering a full line of external, internal, concrete, and custom coating solutions along with double jointing and field girth weld coating services. A sizable and expanding fleet of cranes and trucks is capable of handling the largest pipeline projects. Supplemented by approximately 1.5 million square meters of pipe storage facilities strategically located within 2km of the Jubail deep water port and within 20 km of SMLS, ERW, LSAW and SSAW pipe manufacturers, APCO can serve the requirements of both regional and global markets.

With APCO’s focus on growth through technological development, APCO is able to provide end to end solutions to bring substantial value to our customers. APCO can serve to all major requirements of a pipe coating project; offering a full line of external, internal, concrete and custom coating solutions along with our double jointing and field girth weld coating services. APCO has a sizable and expanding fleet of cranes and trucks that are capable of handling and transporting most commercially employed pipe lengths and diameters. Supplemented by 2 million m² of pipe coating and storage facilities strategically located within 3 km of Jubail Port and within 100 km of major LSAW, SSAW & ERW pipe manufacturers: APCO is capable of reaching both regional and global markets.
In 2000 – 2003, APCO’s facilities expanded and the management team upgraded which increased our capacity up to 300% in almost every product line. In 2006, Internal coating plant 1 was upgraded and increased the production for up to 200%. By 2007, Internal coating plant 2 was established increasing our capacity further to 100%.
From 2007 – 2011, APCO executed 90% of the region’s 3LPE market employing over 1400 people which include the global projects in Algeria & Chile and 950 km (mainly 72”) Ras Al Zur Water Transmission Pipeline. APCO’s 10 production facilities are originally located in Jubail, KSA and in 2013 expanded it’s custom coating shop in Oman.

The company also has a long standing commitment to the health & safety of its employees and the environment; as is supported by OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications. Some of APCO’s major end user approval includes ARAMCO, SWCC, PDO, QP, KOC, KJO, JO, KGOC, BAPC, ADCO, TAKREER, TRANSCO, ADWEA, Sonatrach (Algeria) and SOC (Iraq).
